GMC of Mount Vernon – The 2024 GMC Acadia is redefining midsize SUV luxury near Johnstown OH
With the 2024 GMC Acadia that will soon be available at GMC of Mount Vernon, the Acadia enters it third generation with a redesign that promises to shake up the three-row midsize SUV segment. One of the most important aspects of the redesign is the increased size. The wheelbase has been increased from 112.5 to 123.1 inches and the overall length from 193.4 to 206.0 inches, which is a bit more than 17 feet. Those increases allow for more legroom, especially in the third row, and the overall height has also been raised from 66.7 to 66.9 inches to allow for more headroom.
GMC has made changes to the trim selection as well. The four options for the 2024 GMC Acadia near Columbus will be the Elevation, Premium, AT4 and Denali. GMC has also retired the V6 in favor a turbocharged four-cylinder that’s not only more fuel efficient but more powerful at 328 horsepower, and the 228-hp four-cylinder that had been standard has been retired as well. The cabin is overhauled too and now features a 15-inch center touch screen and an 11-inch digital instrument panel, and you can expect more advanced driver assists than ever, including the hands-free Super Cruise tech.
