1. How does the new Traverse differ from the previous model?

The Traverse has been completely redesigned for the 2024 model year. It remains a truck-based SUV with ample dedicated cargo space and room for adults in all three rows. The trim levels, standard equipment, and options are quite a bit different from the previous generation. The LS returns as the base trim but boasts even more standard features. The LT Cloth and LT Leather trims have been retired and replaced with a singular LT trim. An all-new Z71 model has been introduced for off-road enthusiasts, and the RS returns as the sportier trim but also takes the place of the Premier and High Country.

2. How does the Z71 differ from the other models?

The Z71 comes standard with all-wheel drive but also has a more advanced AWD system with a dual clutch. The suspension is lifted an additional inch. Approach angles have been optimized for off-roading. It also has upgraded shocks, all-terrain tires and a terrain-based driving mode selector.

3. How much can the Traverse tow?

Trailering equipment is optional for the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse near Newark, and with that upgrade, your Traverse can tow up to 5,000 pounds. An advanced trailering system with touch-screen-based hitch guidance and numerous other features is optional as well.

4. What colors are available for the new Traverse?

As of this writing, Chevrolet has officially announced seven colors for the Traverse: Harvest Bronze Metallic, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, Lakeshore Blue Metallic, Mosaic Black Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Summit White. Iridescent Pearl Tricoat and Radiant Red Tintcoat are extra-charge options. The others are included in the MSRP. Also serving Columbus, Johnstown, and Fredericktown Ohio.
