1. What’s new for the Sierra 1500 in 2024?

The 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 continues the fourth Sierra 1500 generation introduced for the 2019 model year but does arrive with a number of updates, including new exterior colors, wheel designs, and other personalization options. The standard turbocharged powertrain has been rebranded the TurboMax. The off-road-oriented AT4X now comes standard with the Duramax turbocharged diesel engine, and a special variant of the AT4X called the AT4X AEV edition will be available this model year as well.

2. How much can the Sierra 1500 tow?

The maximum towing capacity is 13,300 pounds. All Sierra 1500 models sold and leased can tow at least 9,500 pounds, which is ample towing power for our average customer. If you need more capability than that, we have team members available to help you choose a truck with the right specifications.

3. Which cab and bed configurations are available?

There are three bed lengths: a standard bed that measures 79.44 inches, a long bed that measures 98.20 inches and a short bed that measures 69.92 inches. A four-door double cab with smaller rear doors is available with the standard bed, and a four-door crew cab is available with either the standard or short bed.
